Zuba Ski

This is our second time of Travelling with Zuba Ski. Their advice is always excellent and the holiday worked like "clock work". Everything arranged perfectly. We will be booking again - a great holiday!  Paddy

Zuba Ski provided detailed knowledge of the skiing area, including ski logistics, restaurants, shopping and leisure activities. We felt confident about all aspects of the trip before we left, and were not disappointed when we arrived. Gressoney St Jean was the perfect place for a young family to learn to ski, in the charming unspoilt environment of a traditional mountain italian village. The locals are all very proud of their valley and commercialism is refreshingly absent. Zuba Ski could not have been more informative and helpful, and we could not have had a better introduction to the sport of skiing for our children.  Maggie

The Hotel Genzianella was good value with excellent location just by the slope. We loved the 2 nights in the refuge. Very cosy and atmospheric.  Johanna

Hello guys.  Just back from Alagna. Thanks for a great setup. Everything worked perfect and we had a very nice stay. Week of snow before we left and a sunny weekend, so it could not have been much better.  In what areas do you specialize? The Italian side from Cervina and down? Maybe i can promote you a little here in Norway.  Bjorn

We thoroughly enjoyed our few days in Alagna and would love to return, perhaps in the summer to take advantage of the many wonderful walks into the mountains. I walked up the Val d'Otro on the Thursday afternoon and it was gorgeous. The ultimate Heidi experience! The Genzianella was clean, comfortable and friendly though my proximity to the church clock (second floor on the corner) meant I was woken at rather more regular intervals than I would have wished. All the skiers and boarders had an absolutely brilliant time - and the party at the Rifugio Gugliemina was what you can only describe as unique. I think you can safely say that we had a lovely time.  Another Fiona!

Ian/Mike Thanks again for organising this trip for us. Everything went like clockwork and we couldn't have had a better time. We had a lovely meal and stay at Scopella so pass on our thanks to Leo and his staff. The Taxis all turned up exactly to schedule and were very accommodating. The Rifugio was superb - we enjoyed our stay there every bit as much as the Gug. Indeed, we are thinking that we may now use that in preference to the Gug. The guides were great. Lunga took us on the Sunday and we skied the Couloir down from Pass de Zube and then down into the Gressoney valley through the larch forests. The weather was inclement for the Monday and the guides re-arranged for Tuesday at no extra cost which was fab. Marco took us down into La Balma and down Lo Canale Grande ( in over a foot of fresh pow!!) Altogether, a great trip and we are already scheming for our return. Thanks again. Malcolm

Well Done Zuba, we had a completeley different ski experience than in your typical ski resort, as much cultural as ski ing in a beautiful authentic village with some great characters.  Michele was a complete star and the local food and wine a revelation.The skiing was superb despite a bad season but opened our eyes to the potential of this region. Dear Ian, We had a great trip to Alagna. Marco was a  brilliant guide, we had two dumps of snow and did some heli-skiing, doing the circuit to via the Monterosa glacier Zermatt was one of the great skiing days of our lives, 35 cm fresh snow and cold sunshine, just behind 14.000 meters in a days heliskiing in Canada.  Dr Mike

We had a fantastic and very relaxing holiday at the Baita Walser in Alagna. The resort is beautiful and the hosts - from the accommodation owners to the restaurants - were super friendly. It's a great place for a family holiday. Carinna

We had a great trip with Zuba Ski. Everything worked like clockwork. The accomodation was great but what made the difference was the ability to build so much into one short holiday. We received great advice from Zuba ski who organised guiding, heli skiing and a night in a refuge All aspects of the holiday were as described and everything had been arranged perfectly. Alagna was a beautiful surprise and we will be returning. Although we have met plenty of new friends and contacts we will certainly be using Zuba Ski to organise our trip again. - Thanks. Paddy
