10 & Lode (Bed & Breakfast), Boccario, Valsesia

Originally the old school house and now so aptly named 10 Lode (10 Star or top marks).

This is a fine centuries old building owned and run by our mountain loving friend Silvia.  Silvia has renovated this beautiful old school house into delightful holiday accommodation, with her own self contained family apartment on the top floor up in the eaves of the roof.  

It offers Bed & Breakfast self catered accommodation for up to parties of 10 people.  It is perfect for a group of friends or families wishing to stay together.

It is so typical of the old local architecture, a large stone building with several floors, it has wooden beams and a heavy stone roof.

You stay there on a self service bed & breakfast basis and have access to a large and well equipped kitchen and breakfast room with stone floor.  There is also an old dining room, with a large table, chairs and open fireplace, just right for atmospheric group meals.  The large lounge has comfortable chairs, sofas, TV and a selection of games.

Sleeping accommodation is based around a large four single bedded room, a double/triple room and another double room, with a tenth single sofa bed being available in the lounge.  The accommodation can either be booked in total or for smaller groups by the room only but on the understanding other people may be staying there.

10 Lode is located in the small ancient hamlet of Boccario approximately 10 minutes drive down the valley from Alagna main village.  It is best suited to clients who have their own or rented cars and offers the traditional and peaceful surroundings of this old hamlet.

Prices are 35 € per person per night on a B&B basis.  Clients do have use of a fully equiped kitchen.
