Ski Touring the Haute Route of Bernina - 4 Days

Day 1. We ski from Diavolezza through the Moteratsch glacier to the "Marco e Rosa" hut.
Total Ascent: 1200 metres.

Day 2. Climb the Bernina mountain at 4049 metres. The climb is only for climbers. It is necessary to leave skis at 3900 metres where the west crest to the Spelda connects to the South crest of the Bernina. The descent to the Marco and Rosa refuge means setting off in the same direction.
Total Ascent: 250 metres.

Day 3. From the Marco and Rosa hut to Capanna Coaz at 2610 metres.
Total Ascent: 250 metres.

Day 4. Beautiful crossing to lake and forests of Engadina from Capanna Coaz to Sils Maria at 1809 metres.
Total Ascent: 1809 metres.
