Special and unique adventure tour for experienced outdoor people

The tour is unique and will be guided and designed by Sven one of the top dog mushers and guides in Northern Norway.  Thanks to his experience and know how about the area it is a pleasure for him to show you the best of the area.  Relish the chance to learn new skills and enjoy living life to the full.  You will lead your "own" team of 6 dogs.

During the evening meal on the arrival day, Sven will have the first briefing and let you know where the tour will be going.  He keeps that open because he will provide the very best dog sledding experience, depending on the weather and snow conditions.  The nights will be spent in a tent and maybe some nights in a cabin.

The tour will go far off the beaten track using the freedom that sled dogs give.  The tour provides new and interesting mushing experiences.  Neither age nor gender are barriers - all have equal qualifications for handling the dogsled.

There will be 24 hours of daylight and the midnight sun towards the middle of the month.  The snow is starting to melt and it is good time for ice-fishing.  Some great fishing can be done in the numerous lakes.  If the days are warm and the nights chilly, some dog sledding will be done during the nights.

After 7 - 8 days dog sledding, a shower and sauna is waiting for you back at Sven’s lodge and you will end the tour gathered in the warm atmosphere to have a dinner in the "Barta" a round dinning cabin hand built by Sven.

Day 10:  The programme ends at breakfast.
