Hotel de Gletscher
Located in the upper Gressoney hamlet of Staffal at an altitude of 1,850 metres, this delightful hotel is located on the eastern slope just a short walk across from the main ski lifts, which give easy access east to Alagna and west to Champoluc giving full access to the whole of the Monterosa ski region.
It is actually possible to ski in and ski out from the hotel throughout the winter depending on the snow conditions.
A small and very comfortable 12 room hotel, recently built in a very traditional style with wood and stone. It is owned and run by our friend Francesca, who has a passion for providing great hospitality to her guests. After many years as a ski instructor she is a real mountain girl and has a great eye for detail.
Throughout the main seasons the accommodation is serviced on a Half Board basis. Careful consideration has been given to everything to ensure clients of a very comfortable and enjoyable holiday. From breakfast to afternoon tea, to the spa, through to evening meals and drinks at the bar.
After a day in the mountains, it is possible to enjoy afternoon tea on the comfortable sofas or watch the last sun of the day from the terrace, before relaxing in the spa, in preparation for dinner.

The bedrooms are very comfortable and fitted out with the highest quality furnishings.
There is under-floor heating, powered by renewable energy sources, which is used to maintain a constant temperature.
In addition, triple-glazed windows guarantee peace and comfort.

Ski Passes
The ski pass booking system in the Monterosa works on the basis that the earlier ski passes are booked, the better the price. Ski passes booked within 10 days of your trip are likely to cost more than those bought in advance.
The Zuba team will ask you for the relevant information as soon as your accommodation is secured, so that we can make a swift booking for you.
Equipment Hire
Zuba works with Ambaradanspitz rental shop in Staffal.
Situated at the head of the valley, the shop is close to the Hotel Nordend. Carlos and Ezio will make sure that you have all the kit you need.
Guiding and Instruction
Zuba have partnered with Gressoney guides to provide the best guides for you to experience this massive off-piste skiing playground.
There is no better and safer way to explore this wonderful area than under the expert guidance of our local mountain guides.

Ski School
Gressoney has different ski schools for each of the three villages. We work with them all and can assist you to arrange lessons for you, your family and friends.
We also arrange off-piste instruction where more capable piste skiers can be shown the skills and techniques required to ski off piste.
Airport Transfers
Headed to Gressoney - fly to Turin for shortest transfer time
Provide us with your flight details and Zuba will organise your transfers.
Private minibus will pick you up from the airport and take you to the hotel. On the return journey, the same minibus will take you back to the airport on time.
