Zimmer Casa Prati
A beautifully restored bed and breakfast in the centre of Alagna and within walking distance of the main ski station.
This is an original and beautifully restored Walser building, displaying all the original characteristics of the old Walser architecture. Casa Prati is owned and run by our dear friend Marisa and has been in her family for many generations.
Marisa is a wonderful upholder of Walser mountain customs and is often to be seen in traditional dress and at work on her handicrafts. Her father was an old local mountain guide and Marisa talks fondly of those days when her father was a guide. Marisa’s brother Nando, oversaw the incredible restoration and did much of the work himself.
Marisa offers warm and genuine Walser hospitality on a Bed & Breakfast basis.
The breakfast buffet has a selection of regional cheeses, hams and home made jams as well as cereals, fruit juices and a choice of coffees and tea.
There is a parking area, as well as ski room. To relax, there is a sauna and small spa at your disposal.

Alagna Valsesia is a commune and small village high in the Valsesia alpine valley in the province of Vercelli, Piedmont, northern Italy, a UNESCO World heritage site since 2013.
Ski Passes
The ski pass booking system in the Monterosa works on the basis that the earlier ski passes are booked, the better the price. Ski passes booked within 10 days of your trip are likely to cost more than those bought in advance.
The Zuba team will ask you for the relevant information as soon as your accommodation is secured, so that we can make a swift booking for you.
Equipment Hire
The rental shop SportHaus is located on the left hand side as you approach the lift station. They offer a good range of equipment for everyone. This includes small skis, boots and helmets for children as well as alpine skis, snow boards and ski touring skis for the more adventurous!
The shop is open every day: 8am - 7pm
Guiding and Instruction
Zuba works closely with local mountain guides in Alagna to offer you a selection of off-piste programmes, to suit your personal requirements and ability.
Some of these programmes can be a holiday in themselves lasting several days or a week, others can be incorporated in to your normal ski trip. Get in touch with the Zuba team and we can book suitable guiding for your trip.
Ski School
The Alagna Ski school has been active since 1965. It offers group lessons and private lessons for all levels of skiing and snowboarding.
There are English speaking teachers and pre-booking is recommended. Zuba will connect you with the right people to enable efficient bookings of your lessons at a time that suits you on your holiday.
Airport Transfers
Headed to Alagna Valsesia - fly to Milan Malpensa for shortest transfer time
Provide us with your flight details and Zuba will organise your transfers.
Private minibus will pick you up from the airport and take you to the hotel. On the return journey, the same minibus will take you back to the airport on time.
