Val d'Anniviers Imperial Crown Tour - Switzerland - 7 Days

This amazing ski tour takes you to remote places and is a change from the normal classic itineraries. This tour can either be split into two separate tours (one 4 day tour and one 3 day tour) or combined to make one incredible week long ski and ski mountaineering tour (7 days ski touring). There is also a 6 day circuit option available.

Surrounded by stunning mountains like the Weisshorn, Zinalrothorn and Dent Blanche you will skin and ski big and remote glaciers, climbing some interesting mountains, in particular the Bishorn 4,153 meters, one of the few peaks over 4,000 meters in the Alps easily accessible with skis.

The first part is not technical and gives you the opportunity to train and get confident with the area and the altitude; the second part is more difficult with bigger verticals, some technical climbing and skiing sections along impressive glaciers.

Arriving at the Col Durand the view of the Matterhorn North face will leave you breathless and if conditions permit and you have the chance to ski the wonderful Glacier Ferpecle - it will be the classic cherry on the cake at the end of an incredible week long ski tour which really makes this a distinguished tour!
