There is now also a sauna available for use by the guests.
The cuisine offered in the restaurant includes regional specialities and wines from Aosta-Valley.
The refuge has 8 x twin bed rooms, and 6 x 4 bed rooms
Getting to the Refuge
Being situated up on the mountain in winter it offers truly ski in and ski out accommodation. With fairly easy access it offers fun and adventurous accommodation for young children and groups of friends.
Refuge Gabiet is situated in a basin belonging to the municipality of Gressoney-La-Trinité, at an altitude of 2,375 metres, near Lake Gabiet. It is open both in winter and in summer.
Since the refuge is located in the heart of "Monterosa Ski" region, in winter it can be easily reached by the six-man gondola starting from Staffal and then from the top of this ski lift by the chair lift or on foot along a short stretch of ski piste.
A snowmobile service is at your disposal for the transport of your luggage from the top of the gondola to the refuge.
In the summer the refuge can be reached by gondola or on foot starting from Gressoney and from Alagna.
