Ski Passes
Zuba works with Monterosa Ski to ensure your ski passes are pre-organised. The ski pass booking system in the Monterosa works on the basis that the earlier ski passes are booked, the better the price. Ski passes booked within 10 days of your trip are likely to cost more than those bought in advance.
The Zuba team will ask you for the relevant information as soon as your accommodation is secured, so that we can make a swift booking for you.
There are some age discounts that are applied on order, so we will ask you for dates of birth of all the members of your trip.
All tickets will be charged on a magnetic keycard.
Purchasing the ski pass means that you fully accept the ticket office regulations - for more information, please contact the Zuba team.
Ski pass insurance: We will add this to all ski pass orders unless advised otherwise.
Equipment Hire
We are partnered with Sport Haus for all our client boot and ski and snowboard hire.
The rental shop is located on the left hand side as you approach the lift station. Lead by Carlo and Franz, they offer a good range of equipment for everyone. This includes small skis, boots and helmets for children as well as snow boards and ski touring skis for the more adventurous!
The shop is open every day: 8am - 7pm
Ski lockers are also situated right next to the shop. You can rent the lockers from the shop. This is a great facility enabling you to leave your ski equipment overnight whilst you walk back to your accommodation in comfy shoes. Please inform the Zuba team as these can get booked up.
Guiding and Instruction
The Alagna Guides Association is steeped in history and counts in its team some of the most experienced back country skiers in the world.
The Monterosa Ski area is a must for any serious off-piste skier. With its 4000 square kilometres of wild, untouched terrain the Monte Rosa always offers new opportunities and adventures to those skiers, snowboarders and telemarkers willing to take up the challenge.
Also for those who are beginners and want to learn how to ski powder, the terrain on the southern flanks of the Monte Rosa offers wide, low angle bowls in which it is easy to acquire those necessary skills for the steeper couloirs.
There is no better and safer way to explore this wonderful area than under the expert guidance of our local mountain guides.
Zuba works closely with local mountain guides to offer you a selection of off piste programmes, to suit your personal requirements and ability.
Some of these programmes can be a holiday in themselves lasting several days or a week, others can be incorporated in to your normal ski trip. Get in touch with the Zuba team and we can book suitable guiding for your trip.
