
Situated on the North side of the Aosta valley, Champoluc (and the little hamlet of Saint Jacques) are one of the three valleys that, along with Gressoney and Alagna, form the Monterosa ski area.
Perfect for families
Champoluc is one of the largest of the three valleys that surround the Monte Rosa. It's a good base for accessing the Monterosa Ski area and is suitable for beginners and intermediate skiiers and snowboarders.
Ski Passes
Zuba works with Monterosa Ski to ensure your ski passes are secured ready for your trip. The ski pass booking system works on the basis that the earlier ski passes are booked, the better the price. Zuba will ask you, the client, for the relevant information as soon as your accommodation is secured, so that we can make a swift booking for you.
From Friday 1 December to Sunday 14 April you can enjoy the slopes that connect the valleys of Ayas, Gressoney and Valsesia.
The sectors of Champoluc-Crest and Punta Jolanda close on Sunday 7 April, but the valleys remain connected between Frachey, Staffal and Alagna until 14.

Equipment Hire
Zuba works with La Glisse ski hire that is located at the main lift in Champoluc leading up to Crest. You can access the lift station from within the shop,enabling you to collect your kit on the way up the mountain.

Guiding and Instruction
Zuba has close connections with guides who cover the Monterosa Ski area, who are both knowledgeable and experienced and local.
The Monterosa Ski area is a must for any serious off-piste skier. With its 4000 square kilometres of wild, untouched terrain the Monte Rosa always offers new opportunities and adventures to those skiers, snowboarders and telemarkers willing to take up the challenge.

Ski School
The Champoluc Ski School have 40 instructors who work throughout the area. The qualified instructors cover all disciplines: alpine skiing, cross country skiing, snowboarding, telemark, freeride and new school freestyle.
The staff includes a National Alpine Ski Instructor, a National Instructor of Telemark and numerous coaching staff. Classes may vary depending on the number of hours, the subjects chosen and on the number of participants. Champoluc Ski School has three offices where you can find people that can help you.
The headquarters of Champoluc, located at the cableway to the Crest a few meters from stairs and is open daily from 8.30 to 12.00 and from 15.00 to 18.00. The headquarters of the Crest office is located at the arrival of the first cable car in front of the Baby Snow Park and is open from 8.45 am to 16.00 without interruption. Finally, the Frachey office located within the arrival of the train.
Champoluc is situated on the northern side of the Aosta valley. It is the most westerly valley of the three valleys of Champoluc, Gressoney and Alagna that make up the Monterosa Ski area.
