Getting to St Luc Chandolin

The village resorts of St Luc and Chandolin can be found high up in the Val d'Anniviers.  Set up in the region of the Swiss valais, you turn south off the main valais road when you get to Sierre.

Our recommendation

When in Switzerland, take the train!  Take the train from the airport (Sion is the closest, Geneva is the more frequent) to Sierre and enjoy a few peaceful hours as the train takes you through breathtaking scenary past lake Geneva and along into the Valais region.

Provide us with your train arrival details and we will take care of the rest, making sure that you arrive without the stress of map reading or indeed trying to fit everything into that slightly more economical hire car.

We can of course also arrange pick up and transfers from the airports too!

Single way transfer costs are as follows:

Route Up to 4 people Up to 8 people Up to 15 people
From Sion airport Fr. 180 Fr. 250 Fr. 270
From Sierre station Fr. 120 Fr. 190 Fr. 220
From Geneva airport Fr. 600 Fr. 700 Fr. 800
From Zurich airport Fr. 750 Fr. 850 Fr. 950
From Milan Malpensa airport € 230 € 230 n/a
From Milan Linate airport € 260 € 260 n/a

Car Hire

The village resort of Grimentz can be found high up in the Val d'Anniviers.  Set up in the region of the Swiss valais, you turn south off the main valais road when you get to Sierre.

Once in Switzerland, you can very easily hire cars from the Airport.  The good thing is that in winter Swiss rental cards come fully equipped with the "winter pack" so this should include chains etc.  Click on the link below to check out the latest rates:
