A ski in ski out location, set up on the mountain, the perfect hide-away
This is a very special place to stay, it is a very old and incredibly charming small hotel, located on the mountain.
It is located in the ancient Walser settlement of Soussun, built in 1500, it is situated at 2000 metres altitude, in a small valley above Champoluc, with the backdrop of Monte Rosa’s peaks.
Without doubt the atmosphere is warm, friendly, traditional and very comfortable. Far from the crowds of the valley, just you and the mountains and great hospitality.
The hotel is run by our friends Stefania and her husband Sergio Fosson, from one of the old original families of the valley. You can be assured of wonderful hospitality from real mountain people.
There is a lovely restaurant with stone arched ceiling to enjoy, as well as a relaxing lounge and bar.

At Stadel Soussun every room is unique and like no other. All the rooms are furnished with ensuite facilities and TV. The bedrooms have old wood walls and are very characterful.

Champoluc is a village in the commune of Ayas, in the province of Aosta Valley, Northern Italy. The area is known as a centre for hiking, mountaineering and skiing, particularly around the Monte Rosa mountain range.
Ski Passes
The ski pass booking system in the Monterosa works on the basis that the earlier ski passes are booked, the better the price. Ski passes booked within 10 days of your trip are likely to cost more than those bought in advance.
The Zuba team will ask you for the relevant information as soon as your accommodation is secured, so that we can make a swift booking for you.
Equipment Hire
Zuba works with La Glisse ski hire that is located at the main lift in Champoluc leading up to Crest. You can access the lift station from within the shop, enabling you to collect your kit on the way up the mountain.
The shop is open every day: 7.30 am to 7.30 pm
Guiding and Instruction
Zuba have been working with guides in the region for nearly 20 years. There is no better and safer way to explore this wonderful area than under the expert guidance of our local mountain guides.

Ski School
The Champoluc Ski School have 40 instructors who work throughout the area.
The qualified instructors cover all disciplines: alpine skiing, cross country skiing, snowboarding, telemark, freeride and freestyle.
Airport Transfers
Headed to Champoluc - fly to Turin for shortest transfer time
Provide us with your flight details and Zuba will organise your transfers.
Private minibus will pick you up from the airport and take you to the hotel. On the return journey, the same minibus will take you back to the airport on time.
